VIM Products, Inc. - Level Entry Shower System™

We installed this entry level system and after about 1 day in, and watching the video 6 times, found out that it could NOT be installed in 1 1/2 hours. The video was misleading to say the least, not enough information on problems to expect during the installation. I call this sins of omission when one highlights the pluses and does not mention the negatives when trying to sell their product. This gets the installer in trouble when they don't know what to watch for. Videos need tweaking with ALL the information, after all you're not selling used cars. I don't believe I'll be installing this system again.

My Installers love this product! I have used their VIM pan multiple times. As a business owner the true test of a Company is when something goes wrong. My last order was cracked during the shipping journey. VIM products sent out another one with no questions asked and it was received in a timely manner. I appreciated their service and appreciate their products.

Galvez Construction McAlester, OK Business Owner Louis Galvez is very professional. My VIM shower pan install included the tear-out of a sloppy, poorly installed tile floor and an incorrectly installed poly liner which would not drain.

I've used other level entry, retro-fit shower pans in the past. My opinions are; The VIM pan allows for far superior adhesion of the waterproofing. Other pans I've used came with a polished surface that either required sanding or special primer to get the waterproofing to adhere. The weight of the pan is significantly lighter than the competition. Ultimately, the pan becomes quite heavy when you back-butter it with thin set, and two people are required to set it, but dry fitting, transport and the like are so much easier due to the lower weight. Lastly, I'll mention that the price is nearly $500 less than the other pans we've used. Better system all around.

I love this product! We converted an existing bedroom into a new bathroom. The system was super easy to install and gave me the curbless shower that I wanted. I think it is much classier looking with the zero entry. My carpenter was extremely impressed at how easy it is and is going to start offering it to his clients as well. The website wasn't calculating shipping correctly (it said $879 shipping when it was really $79), and I called them and they were fabulous. Fast shipping, and great customer service!!!!!

Outstanding product. The kit came with EVERYTHING needed to water proof our new shower. Gloves, Knife, fabric, brush, liquid waterproofing, etc. Great instructions. Went on quick and painless.

Really just a solid company selling quality products out off North Carolina. Customer service was excellent and went out of their way to ship replacement items that were damaged during shipping. I researched their products online for several weeks before deciding to use their shower pan. Their prices were much lower than the completion and I like the fact that the shower platform is a hardened platform and not styrofoam like Kerdi products. It does take more work and more expertise to install VIM products but I think it’s worth it in the long run for piece of mind in knowing you have a water proof shower that won’t leak and will hold up to years of heavy use. Highly recommend VIM shower pan system.
