We hired Vermont barns to build our dream home in Vermont, and the end result exceeded our expectations! The team of people who make up Vermont Barns are extremely talented and an absolute pleasure to work with. At the end of the build, it was actually sad to think we would not be seeing the whole crew on a regular basis anymore. The craftsmanship, attention to detail and pride that went into building our home by everyone from the masons and carpenters, to the steel workers and electricians, was truly unlike anything I have seen. Rob and Betsy Wadsworth, the owners of Vermont Barns have managed to find the best of the best in talent and create a Vermont Barns family. This family includes the clients. Rob and Betsy have become dear friends. In fact, all of the clients of Vermont Barns have become good friends. I think this says a lot.

Personable, professional, flexible, ridiculously talented and importantly, the most respectful and courteous crew/team I’ve ever experienced. We consider them all friends now. Could not give a stronger recommendation. Living near New York City, the thought of building a home 3.5 hours away was a non-starter for us. Once we met Rob and Betsy and saw the passion, quality and care they had for their projects and clients, they were the only team I would move forward with. Could not imagine ever working with anyone else for a project. Just the best.

We have worked with Vermont Barns for a number of years. From the first Hello to the finished project (s) our experience has been beyond expectations. Having purchased an old Farm House in Vermont has produced many projects. The first being a beautiful post and beam constructed barn. It sits beautifully on the property and adds to an already idyllic setting. Vermont Barns take pride in the quality product that they provide be it a barn or a lovely Vermont home. If you're looking for top-quality workmanship and something very unique--Vermont Barns is a great fit. Our Project Manager Chris Mann was on-site every day. He put his personal stamp on EVERY detail. He has the know-how to lead and guide ALL of the trades. Everyone on the VT Barns team is a true pro. We took this creative adventure together--and the outcome was breathtaking! Our continued friendship with the owners Rob and Betsy is proof of their integrity.

The Wadsworth Company/VT Barns built our dream home near Mount Snow in 2015. We could not be happier with their level of execution and the quality of the workmanship. Rob Wadsworth and his team have a unique ability to turn dreams into reality and this is largely due to the incredible group of designers, carpenters and subcontractors that they assemble for the project. They truly cared about turning the collective vision for the project into reality.
