I had a terrible experience with Window Design Group and would advise anyone against doing business with them. After paying a deposit for their services, I was left completely in the dark with no communication from their sales rep, Kevin Bowers. Despite multiple attempts to contact him by phone and text message, he never responded to any of my messages. As a result of Kevin's lack of communication, I reached out to Window Design Group's phone number and was met with an unhelpful receptionist. Even she had trouble reaching Kevin, and eventually, she provided me with the contact information for his manager, Chris Margott. However, my attempts to reach Chris were also unsuccessful, with no response to my calls or texts. It's been a while since I've heard anything from Window Design Group, yet they have not refunded my deposit nor delivered any of the services they promised. It's a clear case of taking money and failing to deliver. I want to warn anyone considering doing business with Window Design Group to be extremely cautious - no matter how "helpful" or convincing the sales rep may seem during the initial meeting (especially if they are asking for you for a deposit). If they ask you for a deposit, I would strongly advise against it. You will likely never see your money again.

We had the worst experience ever with this company. DO NOT USE THEM. Their product is just okay. Their customer service is non existent. Just horrendous.

STAY AWAY!!! Worst company EVER!!! Working with Window Design Group has been the worst experience. We signed the invoices to have new windows and doors installed in May 2019. It is now January 2020 and we still don't have a front door. They have delivered the wrong door 4 times. They won't let us cancel the order but can't get the correct door delivered. Over and over my husband has had to take time off of work to meet the installers only to have the wrong door brought out. They installed a damaged door and their idea of a fix was "let us board up the door for 3-6 weeks while we get it fixed". Blake sells you on family business and customer service but it is a total lie. Blake won't even return a phone call. And was dishonest on the quality and construction of the front door. The special accent hardware we ordered is being applied with 3M tape when we were informed it would be built into the door itself! Tanya has horrible customer services skills and for the last 8 months has been worthless. We were finally supposed to have the door installed today and Tanya set it up for COD. Did I mention they demanded payment in full prior to install (thank goodness we didn't agree to that!). Tanya now tells us we owe over 6 thousand dollars more than our invoice amount. And when we respond via email (they only way you can speak to customer service) that we owe far less than that we got no response. Working with Window Design Group is a nightmare!!!

I had a full window package installed at my house in Hermosa Beach. The install scheduling went smooth enough, but despite having two measurers come out on different days, no one informed the installation team that they would need a properly sized ladder. So they half finished the job and promised to come back "the next day" with the proper equipment to finish the water proofing on the top floor. Now 4 months later, they have still not returned despite multiple requests. It rained today.... and the windows are leaking. Now I have bigger problems. STAY AWAY FROM THEM

This is an update to a previous review. I connected with the company's owner directly and he helped resolve my issues. I'm satisfied with the resolution steps taken.

We ordered 10 windows in January, and the project was finished in May. The biggest problem is communication between the different departments within window design group. The day of install was delayed 2 weeks. 1 window was broken, and 2 were the wrong size. The lead installer promised that 100% the 2 new windows would be here in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I called and the office FORGOT to order them. Meanwhile I want the other 7 windows finished inside! Twice the crew scheduled to come finish drywall, and did not show. They were confused. They were busy. etc. I had holes in my drywall and no drapes for 8 weeks while I waited for them to finish the project. Worst of all, we needed these windows finished so we could restucco our house. We couldn't wait an extra TWO MONTHS, so we had to stucco. WIndow Design Group finished the project (finally) but the 3 late windows broke and cracked the new stucco during install. WDG wanted to patch it. No thanks. I'll have my stucco guy finish your work. Our salesman (Stephan) said that the drywall around the windows would be paint ready. But my husband and I had to sand and sand. Drywall dust covered our whole house while we finished their work. The windows are beautiful and well made. So 1 star. But please beware. Our experience was horrible.

Was referred to this company by my friend Glen when we were remodeling our house, so I decided to get windows and shutters from WDG- Everything's been great! They did a great job with designing and installing as I needed everything to be custom. Step 1- they sent a designer for the consultation who made recommendations and took measurements. It's good that they send a designer and not just any joe shmoe because he was actually very helpful in giving us suggestions and we ended up changing some things around because of his recommendations. Step 2- bid was sent to us, we signed the contract and sent out deposit. Step 3- our windows were made, they called us and set up installation and everything turned out great. After we were satisfied with our windows, we decided to get shutters from them as well, and I am very satisfied. Since we were returning customers they even gave us a better price. Everything turned out perfect, the way I expected.

When we bought our older home we knew that sooner or later that the windows were going to have to be replaced. We called three companies one was overly pushy and rude, another would not return calls but Kevin from Window Design Group came out explained thoroughly the business and the product. We placed the order, there was a wait time while the Windows were being manufactured, finally install day arrived they were fast, professional and neat. They left no mess behind. We love our new Windows. The difference they make in our heating and cooling costs are very noticeable. I highly recommend this company.

We bought 6 plantation shutters. We are happy with all the shutters except one, the shutter for our kitchen window. That shutter was a different style (inside mount) requiring precise measuring. The shutter arrived too small leaving gaps too big to caulk on all four sides and the installer suggested having someone else come out and add a moulding to cover the gaps at additional cost to us. We felt it was a measuring error and the shutter should be replaced by the company. We asked the installer not to finish the installation until we spoke to our salesperson for a solution. Repeated calls to the salesperson and customer service have not been returned leaving us with a partially installed shutter that does not fit the window. In addition the bronze hinges on the shutter are covered with white shutter paint.

This company is a breeze to work with, this is my second home I have used them for. I have and will continue to refer them!

Love my new shutters in our hang out room, with the kids it was the best option for us. Easy to clean, look great and was very affordable!

Great quality, great prices, great financing program, great installation. Nothing but 100% satisfaction on my end! I have recommended this company to friends and family, my sister will be getting her windows installed next week and I know she will love the product as much as I do!
