“I absolutely LOVED AG & Associates! Rashid is smart and kind. I know that might not seem important but when you are building your dream home it is because the whole process can be very daunting. Rashid LISTENED and took all of our thoughts and ideas to heart. He even went out to our sight and sat there to get a "feel" for our eventual home. He did this because we purchased an older lake home and needed to add on space (2 guest rooms and a large master suite). It was important to blend the old with the new and make it look like the new had always been there...it was very important that it did not look like an addition. He also redesigned the interior space of the old and added a wonderful outdoor space as well. Rashid did all this while staying within our budget (not drawing an over-the-top place that we would fall in love with but never be able to afford). Equally as important is his timely responses to questions and his timely delivery of the plans. We were within a very tight time frame and Rashid delivered. I cannot speak highly enough of AG & Associates. You WILL NOT be disappointed.”

“I highly recommend Cynthia Karegeannes, Architect. Ms. Karegeannes took her time, and gave my husband and me plenty of time, coming up with a kitchen renovation plan that covered all the bases for our wants and our needs, and she made the most of every inch of space we had! She has a very good understanding of practical use of space, and placement of appliances and cabinetry. Her kitchen designs are beautiful AND functional! She "held my hand" on some parts of the project and stepped back and followed my lead at other times. I found out throughout the entire project that Ms. Karegeannes REALLY knows her trade. She also takes a down-to-earth approach to the whole project. She listens well, considers, and then offers solutions. Her work is beautiful, and my kitchen is a dream to work in every single day.”

“We met Van through our (soon to be) builder, who has worked with Van for years on various projects, including his parents house. So, having that kind of recommendation we were very interested in seeing how Van would work for us. Happy to say that we are thoroughly impressed with the work he has done so far. Van has taken a lot of time to get to know my husband and myself and our style preferences, and is great at listening to what we want (or think we want!) and transforming those talks into a fabulous home design. It's been great to have Houzz as a tool, so that we can communicate styles or ideas that my husband and I may not have the correct terminology to describe. Van has a great attention for detail and has been able to lead us in the direction of creating a beautiful and functional design for our home. He has made plenty of suggestions that show he understands the style we would like to have in our house (modern farmhouse) and many of his recommendations are in our final plans. He came out to our property, and from where we wanted to "plant" the house, he made quite a few adjustments to the plans that we hadn't even considered; so glad to have his eye on that! Van is also great with explaining why things can or cannot be done, and is very pragmatic in guiding us on our choices and the costs and benefits from those choices. He knows how to get you what you want in a design and keep it within a budget.”

“We hired Lori to design a home we want to build in Athens. We already had the lot and Lori's challenge was to design the house down to the last detail working with us who live 3,000 miles away! Not an easy task, but she was up for the challenge. With emails and teleconferencing, using ideas from Houzz, and her 3-D software to help us "walk through" the spaces, we're almost done - and we haven't yet set foot on the ground. I thought I knew precisely what I wanted, but didn't know how to execute the plans to get there. Lori had creative solutions and offered alternatives I hadn't even considered, many of which are now in the final plan. She's thorough, detail-oriented, patient with a client (me) who changes her mind at times and spent a great deal of time at the onset just getting to know us. When you're building your dream house from 3,000 miles away you'd better be comfortable with the architect you hired. We're VERY comfortable!”
