“Elliott Brainard is an exceptional Architect for Mountain Building specifically! He was an integral player in the design of our 4,300 sq ft. custom home in Mammoth Lakes, CA. He not only Listened to our wishes for building our Dream Home but was on top of and helped us thru the layout to maximize our Views. He explained all points of building in the mountains including "Snow Load, Earthquake codes, City codes, where to cut costs as needed - etc. He was always Available - complete with building a model to scale for our review. We would Highly Recommend him for anyone doing a New Build or Remodel !!!”

“Mike Peterson was our Architect on an addition to our home. His design was innovative and totally different from other Architect's visions resulting in a finished product that blended with the original design of our home so much so that it looked like part of the original construction. He was able to come in under our budget, which other Architects said they could not do. Mike also assisted us by providing the most professional, skilled group of sub-contractors - all true craftsmen. Mike provided guidance and direction throughout the entire project finishing under budget and beating our deadlines. His easy-going attitude was refreshing and his honesty and professionalism was greatly appreciated. We are extremely pleased with the results we achieved with Mike Peterson and he is our first and only "go-to" guy for all of our future home projects. “This was a residential renovation of and addition to an older house with good bones that had not been well maintained and had been subjected to several DIY projects that appeared to be beyond the capabilities of those who did them. Kurt's design solutions both suited our taste and were consistent with the original style and design of the house. In particular, he suggested a limited number of minor touches (pass throughs, moving a dividing wall) that quite cost effectively opened up the house and made it much more livable, but also was true to its original design and incorporated its positive features. His design of the new and expand master suite used existing elements to create a vastly improved layout. Kurt offered solutions that enabled us to obtain quick permitting. He supervised construction which was significantly closer to budget and on schedule than other neighborhood projects. He was very responsive when field conditions required adaptations to original plans, and devised solutions that kept costs increases of the project reasonable. He was a pleasure to work with and made what is often a very stressful process a very positive experience.”
