“Without Jack my house would never have been built. We needed to tuck this little house into a narrow urban lot in a Historic District and make it look like it was always there. We survived 7! public hearings with heavy revision. Jack remained true to my original vision while accommodating the requirements of many other visions of what my house needed to be. His price was fair, his manner engaging and open. My house won an award and i gained a valued friend. He and and his staff are the best architectural firm ever.”

“We used Cornerstone to design our new home after a fire. Lisa was great at listening to what we wanted and provided quick turn around on updates and changes. She was as qualified as any architect we interviewed and I was sold when one of the builders I interviewed said she corrected architect plans when we needed to get them approved by the town. “Be assured that you will be in excellent hands with Stacy at SKM Design. We can not recommend her highly enough! We did not use an architect or designer for our previous 2 renovations and I wish we had known Stacy then. We literally have no regrets with the layout or design choices in our current house. We have a 1920’s traditional colonial and she was excellent at marrying the character of our older home with today’s modern amenities. She leaves no stone unturned, keeps her eyes on the budget, works quickly, is a task master and will come up with a design plan that fits your lifestyle and budget. Stacy will also help you refine or identify your aesthetic if you don’t already have one. For our renovation, she facilitated the bidding process and managed our project every step of the way. She was able to recommend 3 builders for the bidding and a slew of tradespeople. She‘s also a joy to work with and an outstanding human being- you will love having her around.”

“we asked rafe for ideas and estimates for a number of different projects and scenarios in our home. he had wonderful problem solving ideas balanced with a great design aesthetic and worked hard to keep things within then budget that we gave him. the work was in our kitchen so we left the house and upon returning to the finished project.....skimcoating ceiling, installing light fixtures, replacing sink and countertop, installing stove hood, etc......we were really pleased with the work that was done. clean, sharp edges and finishing touches were one of my favorite details. there was one minor mistake made in the placement of a light fixture but rafe pointed it out to us before we could mention it and had it taken care of by the next day. wonderful experience, highly recommended. we would work with rafe again without hesitation and plan to!!”
