“We hired AR to help us transform our single story midcentury ranch into a home that was large enough for our growing family. We asked for a house that would foster family time, while enabling solitude. A house that would evoke Frank Lloyd Wright at the curb, while looking at home in our beloved neighborhood. A house that would fill our everyday life with beauty, while standing up to the rigors of small children. AR absolutely nailed it all. They truly listened carefully to what we wanted, which at times meant pushing back on what we expected in order to deliver something better. On top of everything else, they designed a truly forward looking, astonishingly energy efficient home. The true test though is that now that we are living in the house they designed, we couldn't be happier. It functions so beautifully for the lives we live, that we are often struck by how grateful we are to live in this incredible home. We renovated this house with the view to spend decades here, but if we ever need to hire an architect again, we will absolutely go with AR again.”

“My husband and I are building a custom home in Oxford Township, MI. We own the lot, we found a great builder, but we were having trouble with the floor plans. Our builder recommended a draftsman, who was a nice man, but he was very difficult to communicate with. We left that initial meeting with the impression that the draftsman was going to draw the house that he and the builder wanted - not the house we wanted. Luckily, I found Robert Kozloski & Associates on Houzz. I told Robert that he has been the easiest person to work with during this process, and that is 100% true. After our first meeting with Robert, my husband and I felt assured he was going to help us create our dream home. Robert is always open to questions and ideas. If our idea would not work, he would explain why and come up with suggestions on how to fix the problem. He was even kind enough to sketch-out ideas so that we could understand what it would look like before adding it to the blueprints. It is clear that Robert takes a lot of pride in his work, and his years of experience in both construction and architecture are a true asset to his clients. When my builder would say “No, you can’t do that,” I could always rely on Robert to come up with a solution based on his experience. Building a home is stressful, but thanks to Robert, and his willingness to always offer a quick reply by phone or email, he has helped us design a beautiful and classic home.”

“We hired Main Street Design Build for our laundry room and kitchen remodel. Like most people, we were nervous to take on such a large project, but after our first meeting with Steve, our nerves were put to rest. The entire staff exceeded our expectations at every stage of our project. The attention to detail, beautiful design options and finishes and level of communication that they offer is unique. It was an A+ experience from the office staff/designers/skilled trades and of course our amazing project manager who made everything run smooth, on schedule, and on budget. We now have a beautiful kitchen and laundry room that we love to show off - and everyone who has seen it is equally impressed (and a little jealous) . We can't wait for our next project.”
