“I have used them three separate times - twice for kitchen renovations (at different apartments) and once for a living room and bedroom floor replacement. That was over the course of more than 10 years, so I am clearly very happy with their service. I'm planning to hire them again for a bathroom renovation within the next year. I find them very responsive and easy to work with. Keith, the owner, was very involved in my projects and goes out of his way to ensure that everything is up to his high standards. The subcontractors were professional and trustworthy. They showed up each day, although a few times they were late. In my view, if that is the worst experience in a renovation, you've done well. None of my projects ever exceeded budget due to any omissions on Knockout's part. and deadlines within Knockout's control were always met. I hope that helps.”

“We had an amazing experience with DesignbyRUCHI. We reached out to her to design a nursery for our soon to arrive daughter. Ruchi came on board quickly and showed us multiple options within our budget and made everything on our wishlist fit in the room (which wasn’t huge to start with). She was a thorough professional with an eye for detail. Throughout the project, Ruchi was very flexible with our choices and guided us through it all. “I helm a women's networking group in New York City and host events monthly. The ladies of M&P Design Group designed the banner that sat at the end of the runway for a June fashion show. All sixteen women who were walking were 'role models' versus 'runway models.' All sixteen were South Asian, which is my brand, and all sixteen were employed in Science Technology Engineering or Math fields. I was making a statement about the jobs of the future, and highlighting the ladies who occupy them now. I asked Julia and Alex to come up with banner design which would serve as the backdrop of every photo taken. They collated all the symbols and designs from the event to-date and created the most stunning design for a runway backdrop. And turned it around in the time they indicated they would. I'm someone who is very focused and gets things done. I appreciate it so much when I find fellow lady entrepreneurs who share the same work ethic--and creativity!”

“I strongly endorse Tara Benet for any residential or commercial project. I have worked with Tara over the past 5 years. She has designed and decorated my homes in New York and Florida, and my law offices in New York and Florida as well. Tara is extraordinarily talented. As you may know she is an artist who brings all of her incredible abilities to the decorative world. She creates a unique living and working space that brings much happiness and enjoyment. More than anything else, Tara creates livable and workable space that exudes positive energy. It is a special joy to work with her. I also want to emphasize that Tara's approach is iterative and collaborative. I never felt that she was trying to dictate design or creative ideas. Rather she listens and works with clients to find out what we want. I think this is a very unique and special style. Tara takes the time to talk to and understand client needs. She is also very careful to work within reasonable and realistic budgets. At the end of the process, I have always felt a special connection to the places I live and work in because I was brought into the creative process. “I bought a home Mimi from OrganzDwell staged. The owner's had moved out so the home was a blank slate and when we walked in, the home was extremely warm and inviting. My husband and I immediately "saw" ourselves living in the home. We even purchased some of the pieces the home was staged with.”

“We are totally happy with the results of our kitchen re-do by Berceli. We are in a NYC Classic 6 with a good-sized galley kitchen. We are that NYC rarity, in that we cook almost every night. We were perfectly content with the kitchen footprint, but it sadly needed an upgrade. The estimate we got from the project manager, Samir, was not cheap, but totally accurate. There were no surprises. The designer somehow managed to not only create a beautiful kitchen, but somehow got us a lot more storage in the same space...I still can't figure out how. Cindi helped us with the fine details as colors and backsplash, which added to the overall look. Were there glitches along the way? Of course there were, as you don't tear out a complete kitchen without having some problems. However, Berceli was immediately responsive, answering emails and calls very promptly if something didn't look right. i would hire them again without question.”

She made our post and beam into a beautiful, comfortable, usable creative space to be in. Outside, Stef morphed living tress and shrubs into a usable space. I couldn't believe how organic our new space is. I love her work!”

“Ward5 Design is not only creative, but they provided staging solutions that were practical, affordable, and stylish. I hired Ward5 Design for a mid sized 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house in Astoria, Queens. Prior to getting the house staged, buyer reactions were lukewarm at best with offers that were way below our asking price. Post staging the offers poured in and we accepted a great price within the first week. The staging really does make a huge difference. Amazing, affordable and such a pleasure to work with.”
