“Mia and her team did a fantastic job with a makeover of my home, which included choosing, sourcing and installing furniture, carpets, cushions, throws and other items for a two bedroom flat. I really felt Mia "got me" in terms of what I would like and made excellent, stylish suggestions that I could never have come up with on my own - yet my friends say my home is now "very me" and do not realise I had help until I tell them! Mia has a great eye for what will look cool but is very pragmatic - while she suggested some more expensive "investment" pieces of furniture she kept in mind that I would want to use them in my next property and she often suggested highly affordable items, including ones I sourced myself. She knows the product ranges of many suppliers in great detail and has close relationships with many of then. She also had some cushions, throws and carpets made from scratch which I now love because they are both beautiful and totally unique. She was very fun to work with and together with her team kept the wheels rolling very smoothly, receiving furniture on my behalf and dealing with any supplier issues immediately. I can't recommend her highly enough and look forward to working with her next time I move.”

“St James design was recommended to me by a colleague in work when I was working in London I hired James to carry out a bathroom installation at my house in Berlin. On his first visit we went through designs of the type of bathroom I could have Within the area given. I wanted a bathroom that offered a calm and appealing approach whilst being minimalistic. I wanted to implement a clean storage systems that was hidden within the wall. James managed to supply me a beautiful shower with soft porcelain Tiles a nice glass shower screen and a beautiful bathroom suite. Everything is hidden away and it looks very clean and spacious. I will be definitely recommending him to my friends and family”

“I was very impressed with Annette Henry at Gage property interiors who demonstrated professionalism and commitment throughout this property development project. She helped me to source the opportunity on Marylands road, Maida Vale and undertake a full reconfiguration and refurbishment of this three-bedroom lower ground floor flat. Annie has a fantastic creative eye for interior design; styling the flat by utilising and enhancing the flow of light throughout the property, which I thought was amazing, given the complexity of the project. Also my involvement was kept to minimum as she project managed the whole scheme from start to finish; regularly keeping me up-to-date with progress and dealing with all the snagging issues which i fully appreciated. “Nicola of Design Penguin worked with us to fulfill the vision of having a snug come cinema room. The property is a cottage and we didn't want to loose the feeling of this whilst still achieving a modern fit for purpose space to immerse ourselves in a movie experience. She listened to our desires for dark walls and a bright mustard sofa, sourced all the items and provided drawings to really help visualise the final scheme. What was brilliant was how she repurposed existing objects into the scheme, the WOW which we literally saved as it was being ripped from the side of the local woolworths building works brilliantly on the over sized shelving and dimmable strip lighting. Working well too with the gold wall lights which make the space both snug and opulent the items Nicola sourced were all spot on. She presented the scheme really clearly and was open to change, but we didn't make any changes! The total project was a complete rip out and start again (so the project costs represent this) and Nicola understood this and was patient and flexible to listen to slight alterations once the scheme was at the final stages, for example Roman blinds felt better suited to the space at the last hurdle, and Nicola worked with us to find just the right pattern and material. We are discussing a complete new kitchen next... Looking forward to engaging Design Penguin again!”
