“This husband and wife team are amazing! They have unbelievable talent and are so personable. Benavides Design House turned our unfinished basement into a beautiful space complete with an art room for the kids, spare bedroom, entertainment room, pool table/game room and a wine cellar wall. They did renderings for us ahead of time so that we could really see what our space would look like. They sat down with us and made sure we were comfortable and got to know our style before they made recommendations. They were flexible enough to put up with our last minute change of heart on a few decisions. They were also very responsive to our calls and emails throughout the process. Plus when we first moved to the South Jersey area, we paid almost double the hourly fee for a designer so we consider BDH to be very competitively priced. You can not go wrong with this talented pair!!”

“'When we moved into our 1920’s stone colonial, it was in drastic need of updated wiring, plumbing, and mechanics. We also wanted to update the interior, making it more inviting and use-able for our family needs while still honoring the feel of this century old home. When we first spoke with Emily, we knew right away she would be someone to help make this massive transformation, a joy, rather than burden. From start to finish, Emily was incredible, patiently listening to our visions for the house, curating designs, textures, colors, and pieces, all based on observing and understanding our own styles. “I had recently swapped my dining and living room furniture as we never used the living room, and only used the dining room for larger groups and needed lots of space a couple of times a year. Sarah Herman's came recommended to help me with curtains, carpets, light fixtures and artwork, transforming my furnishings into masterpieces. She was exceptional at tuning into what my preferences were and came up with beautiful options in my budget. I could not be happier with the end result. Every single person who comes to my home compliments the decor of these rooms. I love sitting in my sitting room (previously the dining room) as it is warm and inviting. The new dining room is spectacularly outfitted with a classic Tuscan feel that adds a lot to our culinary experiences in that room.”

“Alisha is top notch. Very personable and I always felt she was listening to me and what I wanted for my home. She took my ideas and turned them into reality. I had a beach feel going but wanted modern as well. She took all my crazy ideas and somehow made the perfect plan. “We found Nile by searching the ASID.org website seeking a well-regarded interior designer. We were attracted to many of Nile’s designs on his website, and hired him after interviewing several other designers. He stood out from other designers in the ideas he could offer in only our first meeting. We had very little time to devote to designing our home yet had high expectations, and entrusted Nile to help bring out our taste. The job involved designing and furnishing our main floor rooms including family room, living room, dining room, and foyer in a large open concept house. Nile did a fantastic job, offering us choices that reflected our style, and providing his expertise on how to bring our eclectic preferences to life. He struck the right balance in advising us when our ideas may or may not work out, providing lessons learned from his experience and those of his peers, and effectively communicating with us throughout the process, from start to finish. “Adair staged my living room, all in a matter of 2 hours by simply changing furniture placement and angling each piece of furniture in a way that is so inviting and comfortable. She has a talent to use accessories in a way that is useful, not just decorative. I am so very pleased with the results. I didn't know how to move forward after painting my living room and how to incorporate color and texture. Adair did that. She is knowledgeable, attuned to your needs and loves what she does. She also took me on a shopping spree at Home Goods just to be more confident with how to complete a room. So, the learning went beyond my home. I am so grateful for her help! I know she will be there for my next challenge, as I would hire her again in a heartbeat!”
