“We worked with Hartley & Hill Design to completely renovate and redesign our kitchen last summer. They were fantastic and we cannot say enough about how wonderful they were. We met with them and described the concepts that we wanted (functional and classic, keeping in mind that we like to entertain, but we have small children and a busy family life). They put together the design and sat down with us to explain their ideas very thoroughly and also run through the budget. They came up with a fantastic design that we never would have thought possible, incorporating very creative ideas, while still keeping in mind our budget as well as our personal preferences. It was a very collaborative process, with us being as involved as we wanted to be, but not feeling like we had to manage a project; they expertly managed the project for us! All of the subcontractors they hired were first class. The renovation was very well organized, there was consistent open communication, any hiccups along the way (as will happen in any project this size) were managed smoothly and effectively. Needless to say, we are thrilled with the end result. We can't wait to use them again soon to redesign our dining room/living room area. We would highly recommend them!”

“Elaine was a delight to work with. She was very responsive which was such a nice surprise when working with a contractor. She remodeled our kitchen, living room, and bathroom. I have champagne taste and a beer budget. Elaine was communicative, found great substitutes that were in our price range, and gave us a lot of choices. Any issues we have had she immediately responds and coordinates a solution within 24 hrs. Her team was really pleasant to work with.”

“I called on Eclectic Design to design and install window treatments in my new office. I also asked them to arrange and hang wall art. The work was completed on time and on budget. The window treatments are just gorgeous and give my office an upscale and very professional look. Working with Laurene is wonderful experience. She consulted and collaborated with me through the entire process. In addition to being conscious of my budget, she really understands who I am as a person, as well as my business's brand. “Jeanne was amazing to work with. This project was particularly challenging as we purchased a house from a developer mid construction so had to work with existing elements that had already been selected and blend them with our aesthetic. She helped us select everything: tile, plumbing fixtures, doors, hardware, lighting, counters, backsplash, paint and furnishings to create our dream home! Throughout the process she has been super responsive, organized, detailed, and just a pleasure to work with. We could not had a better experience!”

“Our experience with Caryn Paradis was excellent from start to finish. We had an unfinished basement that we wanted to finish and didn't know where to begin. Caryn talked with us in detail about how we wanted to use our basement and then came up with plans that included all of our needs as well as ideas that we hadn't even considered but should have. She was able to design a space that incorporated areas for everyone in our family, including our young son--even a stage that could be pulled apart for use as couches when he becomes a teenager! Because we live in separate states, Caryn was able to do much of the work remotely with minimal visits to our home to take measurements, etc. She had finish samples sent directly to us quickly and walked us through the decision making process. She designed specific requests, such as a fireplace for my husband and a guest room/office area. Caryn paid attention not only to the aesthetics of the job, but also the practicalities, such as outlet placement and HVAC. She also included amenities such as a well-placed dorm fridge which will come in handy when our son is old enough to use the space as a hang-out with friends. All in all, the job was smooth, well-designed and surprisingly painless. Caryn listened to our needs and then exceeded them. We would recommend her without reservation.”

“Christie is knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with. She helped me choose paint colors, fabrics, sofas, coffee tables, lamps and more for my mid-century modern home.
