I do not recommend De Exclusive Interior for your house renovations. We have nightmare experiences with the project management, quality of work and failed in promises. The project Manager (Justin) is not experienced in renovation field of work and is not meticulous for details. The Team Leader (Eleven) is always not on site. Firstly, we awarded the job to De Exclusive Interior as they assured us that the work would be completed within our timeline. However, the completion was delayed by almost a month and we have to shift in to our new house when the renovation is mostly incomplete and still in progress. We have to shift in in a non-habitable condition as the places are dusty, messy and we cannot unpack our clothes and other items. Secondly, the depth of the wardrobe is about 2 inches shorter than what was told. You can see from the photo that the sleeves of our shirt protrude out of the wardrobe. When the doors of the wardrobe are closed, the sleeves will be wrinkled. Thirdly, the height of the kitchen cabinet is too high because they did not factor in the cement base. As a result, it is difficult to do cooking because the height of the wok would be too high after installing the cooking stove. In-addition, before we award the contract to De Exclusive Interior, the De Exclusive Interior’s team told us and assured us that De Exclusive Interior have their own team of carpenters. It was later that we discovered that they out-sourced the carpentry work to a company called KL Carpentry. And to make things worst, the KL carpentry company further out-sourced to a freelance contractor. As a result, the quality of work is really bad and full of errors. Instructions from us to De Exclusive Interior is passed to Kl Carpentry and KL Carpentry passed to freelance contractor. On top of the above, we also experienced issues with the flooring work, which was part of the renovation contract to De Exclusive Interior, resulting in the need for disruptive rectifications (we have to take leave and deal with dusty work) work over 2 times to resolve the issue of floor unevenness. In summary, we really regretted appointing De Exclusive Interior

Friends recommended William from De Exclusive and we hired him after comparing his consultation with that of the other IDs we visited. One extremely important criterion in finding a good ID is that he/she must be willing to listen. William listened very carefully to ensure he understood our needs and preferences. The other important criterion for us was workmanship. Part of the reason we were convinced by our friends' recommendation is the workmanship we can see in their houses. William and his team did not disappoint us. Furthermore, unlike the many horror stories I hear from my neighbours, William and his team were prompt in their work and there were no unnecessary delays. He was also understanding and tries to accommodate to our schedule where possible whenever site visits were needed. We strongly recommend William to anyone who is looking for a reliable and experienced ID!
