“We were so tired from consulting various IDs but failing to find the right match... until we met Alvin from the Local Innterior. We went to Alvin with a preconceived idea of what design we wanted, and fiancé even had a drawn up detailed floorplan. But Alvin, who got our style and vibes from the get go, became the new player in our team, giving us ideas on how to improve our plans, and also serving as the tie breaker when we were undecided about furniture choices/carpentry detailing. Throughout the process, his attention to detail, keen sense of style, meticulous care, and amazing contactability (he even attended to us at midnight at times, when we had a sudden moment of “inspiration” while in bed) meant that we never felt uncared for. There was never an intractable difficulty, and every bump along the way was carefully communicated to us by Alvin, who would brainstorm creative solutions to nurse our 40 year old resale HDB into the present state it is in today. We really pushed Alvin so hard (we converted a single toilet into two toilets, tore down many walls, did extensive carpentry work) all while working within tight timelines for moving in, and amidst the pandemic as well. Alvin really over delivered, and we have moved in for three weeks now to nothing but positive reviews of our place.
