“I hired BKDP back in October 2011 to redesign the ground level and 2 second level bathrooms of my home. After interviewing different design companies, both my wife and I felt most comfortable with Fardid and Ken as they were very clear and detailed in explaining the whole design process and how they charge for design and renovation to us. The design process took about 6 weeks and the design was revised a couple of times as we added more items to our wish list. They presented different design and material options to us and guided us to select the design that we like. The renovation took about 3 months to complete and we were very pleased with the end result. During the renovation, their coordinator kept us updated with their progress and schedule without the need of me calling them. And whenever I call or e-mail them with questions concerning the project, they would respond to me right away. We are considering to renovate our basement later on and we would definitely rehire BKDP for their service without hesitation.”

“We dealt wih Mark Gurski who was very professional and skilled and extremely helpful. He had many great ideas to offer us when we overwhelmed but always listened to ensure he gave us exactly what we were looking for - even when we weren't sure what it was ourselves. We feel he went above and beyond to help us and created an esthetically gorgeous and functional kitchen for us in additin to all bathroom cabinetry and built in closets. Truly a one stop shopping experience! We would recommend him in a heartbeat and infact have already referred him to friends. Mark was either early or met the deadlines and came in within our budget. A big thank you to Mark and his crew! I know we will enjoy our kitchen for many years.”

“Three different renovated kitchens, three different homes in Toronto’s Annex, the escarpment in Stoney Creek and now downtown in renewed Hamilton. All have one thing in common - the deft touch of Biljana McDowell. Cooking a gourmet meal has never been easier with Biljana’s smart practical layout and design. Silent drawers that are sized so Marta and I can fit a complete set of 11 pots into a single drawer, all the bottles of oil and vinegar fitting neatly into another easy to pullout drawer, and plenty of space for everything from groceries to the “good” Mexican dishes. At small family dinners or large parties everyone gathers in the kitchen. As we planned the kitchen is the focal point of the house and entertaining. Adding to economy of scale is superb workmanship that has stood the test of time and my occasional abuse. Unlike some designers Biljana actually listens to what you want and delivers your own dream not a copy of some trendy kitchen in a glossy. Add design genius, fun, warm, creative, practical, detailed, great to work with. Did I say cost-conscious? I would hire Biljana a fourth time except my wife would kill me if we ever move again. “When engaging a contractor, you always hope to find someone who is reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and reasonably priced. Finding the right one can be a challenge sometimes, especially during Covid. We found Kevor on HomeStars and took a chance with him. He did not disappoint from the start to finish. From the start, he was very honest with his scope of work associated with the pricing and schedule. We engaged Kevor’s team to renovate our Kitchen and foyer’s tiles. We also seek his helps to install our new range hood and coordinate the installation of our new kitchen countertop. Although the project was on the smaller side, Kevor treated us with respect and care. He is knowledgeable and takes pride in delivering a quality project on time. To be completely honest, at first, I was worried that we would be an afterthought for him because of the size of our reno. We want quality at a reasonable budget. He reassured us many time to not worry about timing, deadline, quality and budget because he wants to make sure we are satisfy at the end. He really kept his promises. I have never worked with a contractor that is as responsive and timely as Kevor. He started on the day he promised and completed the project early and within our agreed budget. His team was very efficient. Not only Kevor completed his project early, he was flexible enough to come back to help us manage our kitchen counter installation and range hood installation. He really made our life easier by being flexible and keeping his promises. This is all we could hope for. Would we work with Kevor again? Absolutely yes. He gained our trust. We are so glad we found him. Working with an honest, and responsible contractor is all we could hope for.
