About Us

Closet Concepts is a boutique closet and storage business that helps you maximize your storage space. We design, build, and install custom closets and storage solutions in your home or office. Whatever you need, a walk-in or reach-in closet, a laundry room, a mud room, home office, Murphy bed, or garage makeover, Closet Concepts can make it happen for you. We are not a franchise or chain and are locally owned. A lifetime warranty is included with most every product we offer. I started in the closet business with one of the big franchise companies as a sales person. After I realized that there was more to this business, I went to work for a manufacturer and really learned how closets were made and the workings of the 32 mm system. After a while, I got the idea to open my own closet company. I took the positive lessons I learned and added in a higher standard and more personal service to form Closet Concepts.

Bill was professional, took the time to answer questions, and extremely helpful suggesting different options for my closet design. On installation day, Bill was on time and completed the work alone-not sure how he did all that. The closet turned out even nicer than I had expected. I highly recommend Bill and Closet Concepts and will contact him again for assistance with additional projects.

Bill Baker and his crew are the best! We had five closets done. Bill is prompt, professional, and meticulous. Bill personally takes the measurements and listens to the client's ideas and will offer suggestions as well. We love our closets! He and his crew are easy to work with and they did an excellent job on clean up as well. Bill is very knowledgeable and there is a life-time guarantee. He is THE best!

Bill is an amazing closet designer. We have used his services for many projects in our former home in Virginia Beach and in our current home in Chesapeake. He is prompt with scheduling and his turnaround time for plans are usually within a couple of days. Bill is very conscious about protecting existing floors and furniture. He carefully removes existing closet "guts" and cleans up everything before he leaves. We will continue to call on Bill to eventually renovate all our closet and storage spaces.

Bill was extremely professional. He had great ideas about how to best use the space in my oddly shaped closets. My closets were a disaster and now I have more storage than I can fill. He also did an amazing job with the vanity in the walk-in closet. It is just what I wanted.

After interviewing several closet remodelers, we decided on Bill. He was very professional and kept us informed about the project. Him and his helper Bruce worked very hard and created a beautiful closet for us. They were very careful and respectful during the uninstall of old closet and install of the new one. They cleaned up and left us with a beautiful closet . The project was priced to our satisfaction . We can highly recommend Bill's work.

LOVE my new closets! Prior to design and installation, I had 3 different rows of shoes, purses, etc to pull and push around every time I got dressed. Admittedly, I have a fair amount of shoes. The design allows me to view and coordinate choices easily every day. My concerns and needs were discussed in detail until the plan was "just right" ! I will definitely use this firm again, and am thinking of how they may be able to offer more efficiency in other areas of the house, laundry area, pantry?

WOW!!! That is my response as well as the reaction of all who visit and see the guest bedroom of our home. Bill did a FANTASTIC job on the custom closet, the barn door and all the built ins. His honesty, skill, tenacity and attention to detail is what won me over and before, during and after the project, he was only a phone call, text or email away. If you want your project done right and TRULY custom, with a "hands on" expert...CLOSET CONCEPTS is your answer.

The client and I worked together to get the design and features she wanted, keeping in the specified budget. She had us fabricate a custom shoe storage unit with a tilt-out hamper below, a unit with drawers and doors for storage and a smaller cabinet on the wall. We also did a reach-in closet with a rolling barn door replacing the bi-fold doors. It turned out great and I'm looking forward to helping with her next project.

I had Bill from Closet Concepts design, build, and install a closet/storage system for a home office. Bill was on time for all appointments. He readily responded to all inquiries.
