Keith met with Eileen and myself in Dec 2014. We got to know Keith through mutual friends. He was just venturing out in Wood Works Studio.after many years with a respectable interior design company. By the time we completed the renovations and moved in comfortably in our new home in July 2015, we were already so happy with the work and service rendered that we already recommended a few couples to Keith from Wood Works Studio. Keith's earnestness to help and ability to help visualise the contemporary but yet cosy home design won our hearts and made us decide to hire him. He was able to put into words and on paper an "eclectic" theme that was precisely what we envisioned in our hearts; mixing both new and familiar themes to combine into the home that we desire. The use of turquoise colors (on the walls) and items (such as clothes stand and decorative pieces) as the common theme blended with rustic metal and wooden items made us really proud first-time home owners! Being not married too long, he was also mindful of our budget constraints and worked with the suggested budget. Keith also went the extra mile to meet us at various furniture stores and appliances shops to get the necessary items that suited our tastes and financial restraints. That saved us both valuable time and precious money. Generally, we worked well together as many ideas we had came to being, with additional meaningful ideas such as a personalised wooden picture frame over our bed in the master-bedroom. What was unique was the idea he had to made an artistic installation of criss-crossed threads in the frame to symbolise the symmetry and inter-relation of relationships in life. Many guests were also pleasantly surprised when they see the installation as it was unique (unlike pictures or photos) and asked which "art gallery" we purchased it from! The use of bright colours and striking contours in the living room also added life and meaningful conversation-starters to those that visited our home. Keith also painstakingly helped to install the "family collage" of pictures, posters and portraits in the living room wall that soften the overall feel of the hall and gave it a personal flavor to our unique home. Keith's keen eye for design in the aesthetic aspect as well as experience with the various contractors especially involving carpentry helped to both meet our need for "out of the ordinary" home to a practical living space for a household like us with growing 1 year old-baby, an elderly father-in-law as well as a domestic helper! We are truly appreciative of the work that Keith has done for us through Wood Works but more importantly the "mind-fullness" as well as the "i can do this for you" attitude that really made our working relationship a great and memorable one!

A very professional designer who is creative and will provide useful advise based on customer's budget and requirements. Even though this company is considered as industry newbie, but with the ID's refreshing ideas this company will emerge as one of the best in the market.

Keith had been an awesome help for our renovation process. We came in with a really small budget as our condo was new and most of the finishings are new. We also preferred to have more loose items and less built-ins. As such, we needed him mostly for the space planning and styling expertise. He understood our needs, saw the strengths of our apartment and proposed ideas that few other interior designers did. For example, unlike most other Singaporean homes the focal point of our living room is not the TV. Instead, our main sofa faces the vista view that overlooks a beautiful reservoir. He was also a designer that did not shun from projects that did not benefit him directly. In our walk-in wardrobe, we decided to install pole systems that costs a fraction of the carpentry work he could have got a cut from. Yet, he still helped me negotiate with the supplier about the measurements and configuration of the individual units. And Keith is definitely a guy passionate about what he loves. The big leaning mirror in my living room is testament to it. We live on the 11th storey and the movers would have charged us $100 per level to get it to our unit. Instead, he rolled up his sleeves and lugged it up (with my husband) to our house. My husband and I are absolutely grateful for such a great partner in making a beautiful home for us to live in.

I have work with wood works studio a couple of times and the partnership is always a delight work with. Their workmanship and quality is tip-top and I am looking forward to another potential partnership with them as always !
