“Completely renovated our log cabin. They came in and demo'd it. Removing the drop down ceiling, making the whole log cabin 1 big gathering room (the lodge) with cathedral ceiling. They moved the stairs leading to unfinished basement (now finished), replaced all the windows in the log cabin, new ash flooring, new kitchen cupboards,added kitchen island, and countertops, notched out logs to fit new appliances. Also finished basement with new bedroom, laundry room, family room, bathroom and my favorite, "a craft room" from what used to be a "cluttered hall". Also added slider walk out door to patio area and outside shower. I have pictures from beginning to now, but don't have them on my work computer, can supply from my "patti.lou.who@hotmail.com" account upon request.”

“I purchased a home in Quechee VT that had not been touched in over 20 years and oh it looked it. Ralph Eames, the principal, looked it over and took it all on. Within 5 months the house was complete and wonderful. At least all the people Ralph brought with him did a fantastic job. I made the mistake of hiring the flooring and HVAC contractors and they caused a nightmare. The plumbers installed an icemaker I didn't want, and when I told them I didn't want it they installed a valve which somehow leaked or was turned on so there was a very slow drip for 3-6 months. The flooring contractor never did a moisture test on our concrete slab which, it turns out is damp. Between them they caused a massive mold problem so almost everything that was renovated had to be removed. Floors- out. Cabinets-out Walls- out. But Ralph and his people came to the rescue and re-renovated and put it all back together so that all is well. Kind, thorough, quick to reply. I wish they had been around to renovate other homes I have lived in.”

“Red House was our GC for an eight month gut renovation of an 1840's farmhouse. They were fantastic to work with from the first call to their office thru the finishing touches just after we moved in. They provided ideas and consulted throughout the design process, sharing options for needed products, vendor and retail suggestions. As some items inevitably changed during construction they were understanding and willing to adjust. They ran a very neat construction site and kept the project on time. Chris Quinn oversaw the project from a business/planning perspective, David Matesi was point person on site (and a talented blacksmith!) and worked with Dave, Nate & Arna - a great team all around.”

“I have used Lewis Creek for a couple of projects. The first was some interior remodeling including a bathroom and front foyer and flooring for both (tile). They also subcontracted to an excellent wood floorer and recommended an excellent roofer. The second job was front and back porch installations. With both, work was timely and within projected estimates. The quality of the work was exemplary, and filled with suggestions regarding aesthethics and best choice of materials. This company has so much to offer, personable, pleasant people to work with, solid business ethics, with an eye to green if requested, detailed explanations and education if I asked. I will (and plan to to build a sauna ) hire them again.”
