“I passed by Arete culture by coincidence while browsing for furniture around Tan Boon Liat building and found this amazing shop with beautiful decoration items and furniture. Definitely worth to visit shop itself! I wished for some time to change my living room as it had few heavy antique pieces mixed with modern teak furniture and the whole space looked heavy with lots of wood. I shared my problem with Juline and she was on spot with few ideas on how to brighten and soften the space. Arete is offering a design in a day service. Having a makeover and problem solved in a day sounded to me perfect given my limited time and I decided to go for it. Juline took over the project and she was amazing in terms of ideas, responsiveness, professionalism and design knowledge. Also very comforting and kind personality, assessing your needs, but at the same time bold to give suggestions and probe them. During our initial meeting at my place she assessed my taste in terms of style, colour, space, compositions, which was extremely important to me. She provided her recommendations and her selection of items, which I had a chance to view and pick in Arete's warehouse before the makeover day. She did an excellent selection to my taste with incredible ideas adding sea elements and white to teal colour. On a makeover day she went beyond the initial agreement, spent more effort than necessary decorating my home and made a place beautiful and beyond my expectations. I would certainly recommend Juline and Arete for any makeovers. Paying attention to customer taste and needs, but at the same time putting individual flavour into the makeover. The result is amazing, the place looks beautiful, relaxed and classy. The home I look much more forward to return to and spend time at. Thanks to Arete and Juline.”

“I engaged FSI from Oct to 30th Dec 2016 for the completion of my 5 room unit renovation. ID assigned: Leon & Ricky. We chose FSI because: - Out of the few other companies we went to, FSI convinced us with their one of a kind ideas for our house layout. - Both of them listened to our needs and wants, they also asked a lot of questions which we released that it is also an important information. - At the second appointment with them, we can tell they have a lot of experience in house renovation. Based on their customer portfolio and I did a research on FSI using few Apps such as Qanvast and Houzz. - Lastly and most crucial is that we clicked with them. That's a plus point. Journey of the renovation: - We can see that Leon & Ricky has individual roles to play and task which make the renovation process more focus and aligned. - There were many a times I had questions that relates or not related to the current situation, Leon & Ricky patiently addressed it and reply to us professionally. - so far they have met the timeline with only few glitches like my master bedroom toilet had a last minute change on the vanity area. Also my master bedroom wall requires to boxed up the aircon trunking which I requested to create a niche area on top of the bed. Leon acknowledge that he will get this done. - Leon & Ricky also send us pictures constantly to show us the weekly progress of the house. We do appreciate that! - There were some changes we requested during the process, such as the house window we asked Leon if they can remove all the frosted filming instead of changing the entire window (to save cost). Both Leon & Ricky accommodate to us and adjusted quickly to have this done. - I thought they both went extra mile by not meeting their timeline but they did gave us suggestions and ideas proactively. They also able to take rejection when I disagree on some of their ideas and compromise on a workable plan. Leon also helped us to receive our furniture/lightings delivery, that actually save a lot of our time!. Overall experience: We really think we are lucky to have met FSI with what the professional service they delivered in making our dream house a dream come true. The only flawed I encountered was the delay of emailing me the HDB approval renovation letter which is a small matter compared to the rest of questions and challenges we've put them into. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to say a BIG thank you to FSI (especially Leon & Ricky) to put in their time and go through this journey with us. We will always talk about them when anyone ask about our house.”
