“We built our dream house in a beautiful location. The house is not an easy build and with out the Crew at Courtenay Glass it would not be what we had envisioned it to be. The house is mostly glass and working with a steel structure plus incorporating storm shutters was difficult. It was all done well with no issues. These shutters have provided us with great storm protection, extra insulation in the winter as well as heat protection in the summer. We have added a subsequent shutter to control noise from the road which has worked great. We have now done some custom work inside including a frameless shower and another shutter to close off the fireplace when not in use. This reduces the visual interference of the T.V. and fireplace when not being used together so one doesn't distract from the other. All of this above, has provided us with a beautiful, functional atmosphere that we can control to our liking and to outside weather conditions. In conclusion, we were very pleased with the results and with our dealings with Courtenay Glass.”

“I hired Vick after an initial consultation with him to replace our pantry doors, bathroom pocket door and two other main story doors. The pantry doors were in disrepair and their frame wasn't installed properly as it allowed the doors to be pushed further in than they were supposed to. The bathroom pocket door was warped and, as a result, wouldn't lock properly which is an issue in and of itself. The door to my office and another storage room were also in need of new doors to allow for ventilation and sound attenuation. Vick agreed to remove all existing doors and discard of them while installing one double pantry door, one swing door and one pocket door matched to our existing hardware. The doors were custom made and painted and we were very impressed with their look and feel. You can feel the quality and weight when they are opened and closed. Additionally, Vanair fixed several previous issues included re-installing shelf brackets, replacement of the pocket door guide (which was warped), installation of door stops to prevent hyperextension of pantry doors, painting of the washroom casing and general finishing. Overall, we were very impressed with their level of professionalism, quality of workmanship, and attention to small details that make a huge difference. I will hire them again for our second floor early next year!”

“I used Doorex to build interior and exterior doors for a new house in east Vancouver. All the exterior doors are solid Douglas fir and have been expertly made and stained. “In progress with our siding replacement project from vinyl to Hardie as well as replacement of wood trims and new front door. Our sales manager, Marc, is very pleasant to deal with from our initial visit till now and he still follows up with us during progress of our project. He took the time to discuss all details before we signed the contract and is so patient with all the back and forth and changing of some details after signing. He made us feel comfortable with his knowledge and honesty; we trust we are in good hands. Also to mention, we have had another siding company here to estimate and when we told them we would like the exterior window trims to be replaced with wood, guess what, they were trying to convince us with a easier way to replace our wood trims with metal flashing? Seriously?! I’m beyond grateful for hiring silver line for our project; sales is one part but installation is also important. Laddi and his crew made this project successful. Siding installation team, Laddi and his crew is amazing. Pays attention to every single little detail, plus they are polite and respectful! Lastly, our front door; it looks amazing! Marc gave good advice on picking this door and it looks absolutely beautiful. The installer, Collin, did a fantastic job!”
