As gross as it, toilet mist is getting everywhere when we flush. If you overthink you can really get the ICK from it. But if it hasn't k!lled us yet...can't worry about it too much.

Random thoughts:

- No to this type of shelves over /above the toilet. At best, they look like something picked up from Walmart clearance.

- The "feet" around a toilet create a difficult-to-clean area.

- A shallow, closed cabinet looks better than this proposed type of shelf.

- One or two shelves can look nice over a toilet, but they tend to be for looks /not so much for storage.

- I have never considered people's hair touching toilet paper, and I'm confused about why this would be a concern.

I use mine for puzzles and put glass over when done for awhile. Otherwise it’s a perfect footstool. It even has drawers in the front for dead remotes and such.

I like the look of a mirror over your fireplace.

I like the gold mirror. I think the art looks too much like just one more dark rectangle on that wall. I would also consider a chandelier with gold in it rather than white.
