Also re: Certified, I am lucky enough to live very close to their processing facility. In the spring they will pull trailers out and sell the overstocked plants they have for $10 each. Big giant pots! They don’t ship those and I think only ship a partial selection bare root. It is like a grab bag though, it changes weekly so you have to go check to see what’s there!

I use own root roses Carol... But some own root roses grow slow and some grow super fast on there own roots... Depends... I looked it up some people in Canada use Rosa multiflora rootstock....Maybe do some research on your certain location....

As for disease resistance ...Thats hit and miss ...I have seen roses that are suppose to be super disease resistant here bite the dust and other roses do good and there not even projected as that resistant SO ? Just enjoy the roses and lifes journey... :-)
