I love creating beautiful bathrooms. They should be a place of sanctuary and calm whilst being fully functional and easy to maintain. There is no need to spend a fortune on a bathroom but it needs to be very carefully designed to maximise space and to give a feeling of luxury.

Create more space with a semi-wall and hide the toilet. The different levels in the bathroom and the sunken bath makes for a feeling of space and creates interest.

This bathroom has the real wow factor with a beautiful stand alone bath, waterfall shower. It is very simple but elegant. Possible to achieve on a budget.

One of my favourite bathrooms created by us at Nicola Scannell Design. These large format tiles add a touch of femininity to this light and bright bathroom. A glass bespoke glass door adds to that delicate feel. Whilst looking luxurious, this bathroom does not need to cost a fortune.

By using a proper shower bath and shower screen you get full functionality from both the bath and shower. Lovely large format tiles make for a clean and expansive look in a relatively small space.
