Working with this old walk-up apartment offered a lot of quickies and interesting design opportunities. By opening up the space, we were able to create a large kitchen. The support column has been left raw and untreated, while the plaster has been taken off the red brick feature wall.
Sleek herringbone pattern tiles were offset with a border design and in the kitchen a patterned Peranakan style tile was laid down.
Mid century modern furniture give a contemporary and modern vibe to the space - which finds its inspiration from a New York loft.
