Inside this traditional home in old town Alexandria Classic Cellar Design transformed the basement into a beautifully contemporary wine cellar incorporating white limestone on the flloor as well as the walls outside the cellar. The chairs and table outside the cellar are a soft brown leather and shiny chrome while the table surface inside the cellar is a brushed zinc that will oxidize and patina with time. Keeping the color pallet simple and the textures diverse helped make this cellar a tranquil sanctuary to retreat to at any moment.

Classic Cellar Design also made use of hinged bookshelves to keep the design intact while maintaining the function of the basement's electrical panel.
