I bought them from IKEA several years ago so not sure if they are still available

Hey vlau. How big is this pillar? Do you have a photo you could post? I'm thinking if it's big enough/circular, it could be fun to do circular seating around it. But it definitely depends on where it is in the room. I've also heard of people doing spiral book cases around columns, or painting them with stripes etc. But if you don't really like it, or are trying to "disguise" it, my best advice is just to leave it alone--decorating it to any extent will definitely draw attention to it.

Luke, please keep some if the empty film canisters, they hold $17 in $1 coins, and are handy in the car's ash tray. I don't have enough $2 coins to advise of their value. Look at the storage container of everything you through out and just like the lady above with the nappy containers, often things are grossly over packaged and can be re-purposed.

Hi, I am currently renovating my kitchen. Pictures of my tiles are below. I love wood grain cabinets. However, i am at odds as to whether I should get wood grained or solid coloured laminates. My designer told me that I can only choose from Arova n Jennings brand. He does offer EDL as well. But I do not like the solid colours from any of these laminate companies. A solid black colour will leave finger print marks easily. And I think grey is going to make my kitchen look monochromatic which I feel might get boring overtime. Some advice is really needed.
