Leafy ground cover in front of bottle palm

Hello, very nice landscaping pics. Could you please tell me what the darker green leafy plant is in front of the center bottle palm. How much Fl sun can it take?

    It's called a Caribbean king begonia. It does best when not planted in direct sunlight from the south or the west. So location is key!
