Office design help!

This room leads out to a cabana so I decided that this room would be a great office/ sitting room. When I have company over we usually sit outside so you have to pass through this room. I want this room to be amazing because I have to work and study hours on end in here so I want it to be a place that is wonderful and beautiful. I am planning on taking the left side closet doors off and opening that part of the wall up as a desk with organizer and school stuff maybe wallpaper the inside of the closet ??!? Which brings me to my last problem is the color.............. I hate this color. I recently had these dark brown wood floors put in throughout my condo and I love them! I have grays in my living room and dinning room and blues in the master which all look beautiful with the new floors. However this green is NOT working for me at all. Let me know what everyone thinks! This is the last room I have to finish decorate and I want it to be fabulous just like all the other rooms!!
I'll take any and all of the help, input, or ideas!

Since you're a marriage counselor, you should probably stay away from red (the color of conflict). Light green is the most soothing color.

Thanks guys! I've been thinking about a soft yellow but at the same time I have also been thinking about maybe doing the wall with the tv on it in half wanes coating then above the wanes coating to black gloss?! Or is that bold and dark?? If I did the black and white theme I feel that it might make the room look smaller.... Hmm

This is the wall that I am thinking about doing wanes coating to like 43inches tall. Then doing black high gloss above the wanes coating?? I don't know... It might be to bold for my office?

No wainscoting. The room is too small and has too many openings.

I agree there are to many angles in the room but I was only going to do that to one wall. However this room isn't that big so I don't want to make it feel boxy. I've been trying to figure out what color should go in that room but I'm totally stumped.... I've hit a designers block lol.

I don't much like the yellow. I think you just need a less saturated and darker green.

You have a beautiful space! One thing you could do is add a water wall. Not only are they pleasing to the eye but they also help clean the air by attracting dust particles. Your guests will see it as they walk by. It may also help create a soothing atmosphere for you to study. I'd think about a soft sage green - or an off-white, just different enough from the white woodwork to stand out. You already have grays and blues in other rooms, so try to avoid each room being a different saturated color. Maybe even use the gray or blue you've already used.
