How is that book shelve protected from the fire from ethanol burners?

Love the bookshelves! but how is it protected from what appears to be ethanol burners? Is there a safety minimum height?

    Hello Ignacio, thanks for the comments. Ethanol burners were a sudden and short fad in Paris five to six years ago. We had discussed with the ethanol suppliers the minimum distance that wood could be placed -away from the burners... but you are right, they're probably a little too close. All I know is the client has only very rarely used the thing as she felt it was getting too hot for the tv that was set above! Not a great idea in the end...take care, cheers,
