Side bar on hot tub

How is the side bar attached? I see the cover is back, does the side bar interfere with the cover? Thank you, LOVE this project.

    Though we did not work on this project, most spa side bars are attached to the skirt/cabinet of the spa, and can possibly be anchored into the frame of the spa through the skirt/cabinet for more support (with screws). Your spa side bar should not interfere with the spa cover because they are installed several inches below the lower part of the lip of the spa (part where the acrylic overlaps the side of the spa), allowing room for the spa cover/spa cover skirt.
