Matte Tiles for living room :60cm x 60cm or 90cm x 45cm

Hi guys.

i am in the midst of selecting cream coloured tiles for the living room. going for the contemporary/ scandinavian feel.

i would love 120x60cm tiles, but seriously expensive here in Singapore.

i am left with 60x60 OR 90x45.

what do you guys suggest? i wanted a roomier feel, which of the tile size is more ideal in creating the look. my living area is average Rectangular size with the long side with balcony cum windows.

are there any differences in grouting gap requirements?

    I would do porcelain tile in 90 x 45 for the look and with the absolute minimum grout line for the tile you choose.
