Finding artwork or print for wall

Hi, I am finding it hard to locate somewhere that sells oversized artwork. It is to go on a large blank wall between the kitchen and dining areas.

We want something with some colour probably abstract. Either a print or painted canvas. We want it to be at least 180cm wide by at least 140 high.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Try Temple & Webster though sizes may not be big enough

Reject shop has some beautiful big tranquil prints at the moment for $50 and bright coloured canvases fir $40

Saerom86-You would be much better served by hiring a local interior design firm. Yours is a big job and based on single photo you posted you have a great property that deserves a one on one consult. You may very well find someone qualified to assist on Houzz. Good luck!

So is it a chair and a sofa? If nothing else they are a conversation piece! No one could ever enter your room w/o saying something. I love your idea. But if you are serious, remove the like striped pillow covers, and replace them with plain any colored pillow covers or continue the fun & add a zig zag black & white area rug & one or two more striped items, such as lamps & a painted zebra coffee table. I love it.

work out the wall space you want to cover, measure this on the floor. then start laying out our design within the space on the floor to create your design. There has to be lines running through the collage so there is a method to the madness- we don't want a messy looking arrangement, there must be a flow. You can line up the matts with outside edge of other frames etc. Layout all of your pics on the floor and mix up the frame styles and sizes amongst your layout. Take photos of your layout and then start hanging. My tip is don't start hanging until you have your plan 100% !!! lots of neck stretches too! i recently put together this collage and need a neck massage afterwards ;-)

Hi Rachel, This is quite easy to fix. Firstly I would brighten the space up with a white paint such as Nippon Violet Whispers (warm white), this will give you a good base to work from. Then I would replace your table with one that is larger. This table is too small to be useful and is making your entrance feel small. I recommend using teak and keeping this console table simple in design. On the wall I would place artwork - the bigger the better as this will make a dramatic statement. Then add some lighting (table lamp on console table) and decorative items and voila your entrance will be instantly chic! I have mocked up two options for you - one is based on blues, the other pinks, so depending on your preference you can go either way. Or cover with wall paper and make a large frame around it with moulding. Or do like me and buy a black canvas and paint your own.
