stair to loft in small (12X24) house

the small house is currently only a shell. our plan is to put in a loft at 7'. I don't want a ladder. Stairs with a railing in such a small house...suggestions?

    That would be the other option.

    I don't think a trampoline or rebounder would do it. Elevator is out. Built-in stairs (partially set into the wall) would do it. It will be almost vertical = ladde but more expensive. There are plenty of pull down options or folding options but they get expensive. Seeing how you save on space you have to spend on "function".

    cancork, you forgot to mention sling shot, dumbwaiter...funny!

    this houzz connection is awesome, I have loved it since coming on a month ago. we are still waiting for our small house to get set (with a crane, have to wait for mud to dry first) on the foundation then the interior begins in earnest.
