cultured stone?

This is a beautiful project? Is cultured stone often used for a patio wall like this? Our contractor recommended it, and I'm just investigating it! Thank you!

    Thank you! Cultured stone is a man-made product that is most often used in new home construction interior and exterior. Improvements have come a long way over the years and to the untrained eye, it can be hard to tell it apart from real stone. I would recommend it if your budget does not allow for natural stone. In this project we used it to match the same cultured stone on the house.
