Decorative design above fireplace is called ???

I have just completed a 35' x 10' paver patio, freestanding wall with columns & caps as well as a firepit. my question is I have seen several designs that have what appears to be a "face mounted" design with brick, paver etc as a decorative touch on the outside or above the firepits, what exactly is the verbage used to describe this feature as I am trying to research to get ideas and figure out how to add to my design? Thanks in advance.

    Honestly, I'm unsure of the technical term, but I would search fireplace medallions or possibly stone veneer medallions. Or search fire pits in general and see what options are shown. Thanks.
