Vanity and sizing.

We are building our retirement home. The vanity with cabinet divider is beautiful and functional. Do you know the dimensions of it, and what size room will handle this graciously? Also what is the counter material? And paint color? Thank you, in advance!

Congratulations on planning your retirement home! If you haven't already, it would be smart to work with your builder and someone with an Aging in Place accreditation- such as National Association of Home Builders' (NAHB) CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist). They can give you lots of great ideas for planning purposes.

To answer your questions, this room is approximately 10' x 12' with an 8' ceiling. The cabinets are semi-custom with the upper cabinet at 30" wide. The counter height is 36". The window wall in the image is limestone large format tiles. The counter tops are limestone as well. All of which are triple sealed. We used the same stone slab material to fabricate the wall cap and the shower seat.

As a side note, not only are the floors thermostatically controlled, but the seat in the shower is as well!
