Break in roof

It appears that there is a gap between the patio roof and main house. Do you get a lot of rain coming through the gap?

    The roof of the new arbor drains onto the old roof, which has gutters.
    At the back end, where it meets the house, the house roof overhangs, so no rain gets thru there.
    These clients have been very happy with this

    We are getting ready to do something very similar... We see also in Dallas.... Is this a problem for "extra" rayon to be hitting the old roof?
