Before & After: Dilapidated Garage to Party Pool House

We contemplated tearing down a rickety detached garage at the end of our client's driveway to make room for a larger backyard, but we decided instead to make the most of what it could offer. Before any work could begin, our contractor had to replace the sagging roof. In doing so, however, we were able to create an open-beam matrix that added warmth to the overall design. The roll-up garage door was exchanged for a paneled accordion slider, and we cut open a side wall to add another one facing the pool. Easy-to-hose-off tile floors, outdoor fabrics, and the cutest kitchen ever turned this outbuilding into the ultimate entertaining space we knew it could be!
