Are the support beams for the system cantilevered?

I love this design.
How are the beams attached and does it come as a complete system?
Where/how do I buy the shade?

    Hi Christine,

    The structures are not cantilevered. It's a custom wood trellis with
    posts (you can see the bases at the bottom of the green vertical shrubs.)
    There are seven of these retractable roof shade systems distributed around two patios. The wood beams on either side of each shade were routed out to conceal the side tracks. The cassette which houses the retractable shade is recessed into the beams connected to the house wall. The entire system was architecturally designed here in the Bay Area. We worked with both the architect and general contractor to ensure the shade systems would meet the objectives. We, at Air-Sun, supplied and installed the shade systems once the structure was complete.
