what was the finishing for the cabinetry? did you use the same ones? how much (ballpark) wld a project like this cost?

These are the old cabinets... New ones were custom built as a few changes needed to be made to the lay out!!! New cabinets were chosen in cherrywood that was simply varnished (no stain) approximate project cost before countertops: 25 000$

Wall hooks could be an idea if you have the space! Although, apart from the storage space that's in both of the photos you've used, that would be a good solution when it comes to no space in your cute kitchen.

Hi, I am currently renovating my kitchen. Pictures of my tiles are below. I love wood grain cabinets. However, i am at odds as to whether I should get wood grained or solid coloured laminates. My designer told me that I can only choose from Arova n Jennings brand. He does offer EDL as well. But I do not like the solid colours from any of these laminate companies. A solid black colour will leave finger print marks easily. And I think grey is going to make my kitchen look monochromatic which I feel might get boring overtime. Some advice is really needed.

Hi there, my suggestion is to create an opening between the kitchen and the living area. As a breakfast counter / casual sitting corner while the person is doing prep work. The hob can be placed behind the column (which can't be hacked). Even though it's small, it's still possible to have a fully equipped kitchen (ie oven, microwave and fridge) along with some storage space. Everything is in a whole row so that it will look seamless. I've attached a rough plan and some of our works for your understanding. Hope it helps.
