does hail effect them? are there any roofs that are not compatible?

    I'm so sorry for the delay EJ! I had a typo and never received the notification.

    They can be damaged by hail, however due to their smaller designer and dome polycarbonate structure, they are rarely broken. If large hail is a concern for your location, a hail resistant dome can be purchased for added strength.

    It comes ready for most roof types as is, but additional flashing kits (weatherproofing) may be required on tile or flat roofs.
