Could this be used as an exterior gutter rain chain?

I would like to use this as an exterior gutter rain chain. How heavy is this chain? Would this be a good application? Thanks

    Although this chain is made of Solid Brass and will not rust over time, it may be a little thin to be used as a rain chain.
