Original Barn?

I am curious to know if the barn was converted to living space or constructed specifically for this purpose.

    The barb volume is a reproduction. The original 1840's timber frame was dismantled and rebuilt in a new location. We accurately recreated the volume to accommodate the new interior living spaces which the original structure could not support.
