    This light uses a LED instead of a bulb and is rated for 50,000 hours of use. Rechargeable batteries can be used.

    so, what do you do with the lamp when the 50,000 hours are done?

    A rated life of 50,000 hours equates to:

    Over 68 years of use if used for 2 hours a day

    Over 34 years of use if used for 4 hours a day

    It's also important to note that we run the LED well below its rating so it's very likely the LED will last longer than the 50,000 rated hours.

    If the LED fails we can install a new LED.
