Wondering about fixed windows in bathrooms.

Have those windows the option to open?

I am about to redesign my bathroom and I have concerns to replace the existing sliding and put a picture window fixed.

Similar to that design is at the side to the bathtub so wondering will look beautiful the whole glass.

Any ideas or concern about it?

    We photographed this for the Realtor a few years ago, I don't know if they open or not. We are on the Gulf of Mexico and I doubt they were designed to open because of hurricanes. It is the corner of the house and I'm not sure that would pass code down here. Sory, I can't be more help.
