Thank you! The table is vintage Karl Springer. But I'm sure there are replicas of this out there or you can search Chairish, etc. and might get lucky!

Lovely room; your design & the architecture. What are the measurement of the sofa; especially the seating depth? It has a nice low & gently sloped back. What is the height?

I think if you want to show off the nice wood grain and inlay of the table, go light color on the sofa, even cream like the drapes, or neutral like the carpet, or a shade darker. Then you can add whatever accents you like in pillow colors, accessories which can easily change seasonally or with time and little cost. The sofa(s) are so big that you might not want them making the most design statement in the room, but just providing comfy seating and a big amount of soothing neutral color. It helps to look at your room like its a landscape painting, foreground, midground, background. Sofas would be midground and you don't want them too bright or busy to overpower the other planes in the roomscape. The colors you have now work, but I would go solid with a textured fabric, something soft like a chenille.

Hi 4eva zx, It's not optimum if you don't want to build a bespoke TV wall/console where I've placed the TV here (suggest that you get something where you can swivel the TV towards the sofa, or slightly extend that wall so the TV can be directly in front of the sofa), but in terms of spatial efficiency, your round table would be better placed like so: This is so that it's near the kitchen and you can use it for meals for more than two people. This placement will also allow you to make this family heirloom a visual focal point and conversation piece for your home. If you ever need to use a bigger table for gatherings with more people, you can simply put a rectangular top onto the round table and seat 6-8 people – the placement provides for space that allows this. Find a good ID or decorator who will work towards incorporating this family heirloom in your new home, and you'll be able to enjoy it for years to come. Hope this helps!

I personally hate any L shape sofa. The perception of more people sitting on one sofa is not true as most people perch on sofa like birds do. People like space between them and the sofas facing each other makes for easier conversation facing each other. Just my humble opinion.
