    Hi there and thanks for your inquiry! Those are rain chains! A different way to move water from gutter to ground drains. There are different kinds of rain chains - some are decorative and others are utilitarian. They provide a path for water to travel and in some situations (like the image above) are a more attractive solution than downspouts. This homeowner has several around their house. One is directly outside the kitchen. We've been told the way the water moves down the chain is mesmerizing during rain storms - in a way, therapeutic!
