how do the louvers open and close? i don't see a wand. Are they custom? Available for purchase?

    Thank you for your questions. These shutters use an internal rack and pinion innovation. In fact they are the only shutters in the world without an external wand or control bar. This also enables them to act as security bars. We manufacture the shutters in Dallas, and we have retailer that sell all over the country.
