Will this cedar fence weather to the typical grey?

Or is the cedar treated with something?
A stain, weatherproofing treatment or oil?
And if so, will it need re-treated every year to keep the color?

    Hello, and thank you for your question about this project!


    This fence was treated with a stain to maintain this color rather than graying naturally. The stain will need to be regularly maintained, but the schedule for application will depend on the exposure to rain and sun.


    The stain that was used is Penofin Red Label Ultra Premium in semi-transparent finish, western red cedar color.
