What's your Friday routine?

It's Friday afternoon and I bet you're starting to plan ahead for the weekend.

Some people are wont to do the same thing every single week, whether that's having dinner with friends or family, watching that specific TV show, reading a book or browsing Houzz. Do you have a specific Friday routine? Whatever it is, I want to hear it!

My Friday night usually equals: sofa + feet up + magazine in hand!

    As a Seventh-day Adventist, we celebrate Sabbath from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. This means that many SDAs spend Friday afternoons preparing for the Sabbath by cleaning their homes, taking out the trash, pre-preparing casseroles and other food for Sabbath dinner so that they only need to be put in the oven and baked, and doing any necessary shopping. If you actually work for the church, you usually work longer days Monday through Thursday and get off at noon on Friday to allow for this. Here's a funny video a friend shared with me about what it can be like 5 minutes before sundown on Friday in an SDA household.

      Ask again Memorial Day and after when weekend plans might include heading to the lake. ;-) Right now weekends consist of everything I swore I'd get done during the week but didn't. Like those pesky taxes!

      For me a Friday is hit the gym, then have a glass of red wine and enjoy my weekly TV catch up! I like to get an early night so I can make the most of Saturday :)
