TV Placement dilemma
Comments (3)The only option really as Emily says is the the bottom left side wall of your plan. I wouldn't suggest putting it in front of the balcony - that's just not good circulation. And any ways you'd probably have a problem with electricity and plugging in your components and have wires all over the floor in front of the balcony. Put it on that wall and use a swivel mount so you can angle the TV around as you need to. You could also use a lift cabinet if you want to conceal your TV at times......See MoreIdeas for this playroom
Comments (2)Rock on Great space. Cretins gone, solar sheeting on windows they can see out but no one can see in. light is great. build toy box along wall under windows all the way across. hydro-lick lifts in both sides of toy box lid. cover and make seat, single books shelf at the back. cool chair fill with bright colored pillows guessing it is a boy wall size world colored sticker globe left hand side move lego building station under globe move shelves and cube thing to other wall paint all the same color one shelf on each side. above sticker abc's and 123's then child's name leaving enough room for other kids if you have them with the age right next to the name. on the angled narrow space a long chalk board. you can tack up his or her art on the globe in the country they would give it to change it out weekly on accident they learn world colors shapes letters numbers and can dream. easy clean up total cost about $250 will last till the 3 grade....See MoreIdea for our family room
Comments (6)i like this example - i think adding some shelves in your room would really help! you can add eclectic pieces and store more on the walls rather than in furniture/cabinets etc...See MoreWhat should I do with this boring entrance?
Comments (9)Hi Rachel, This is quite easy to fix. Firstly I would brighten the space up with a white paint such as Nippon Violet Whispers (warm white), this will give you a good base to work from. Then I would replace your table with one that is larger. This table is too small to be useful and is making your entrance feel small. I recommend using teak and keeping this console table simple in design. On the wall I would place artwork - the bigger the better as this will make a dramatic statement. Then add some lighting (table lamp on console table) and decorative items and voila your entrance will be instantly chic! I have mocked up two options for you - one is based on blues, the other pinks, so depending on your preference you can go either way. This is the blue version with hints of tropical This is the pink version. I would love to work with you, so if you are interested in my ideas, please contact me via my website www.atelierlane.com Ellie Owner & Creative Director Atelier Lane...See MoreKayron Brewer, CMKBD / Studio K B
